End the Tax on Womanhood

Womanhood is a beautiful thing, but it can be expensive.  When one accounts for all the various products that women require to manage their menstruation cycles, the costs can really add up. Between Midol, tampons, panty liners and birth control, some estimates have calculated the lifetime costs related to menstruation management in excess of $18,000. Now, consider this: In 4 out of every 5 states, a sales tax is charged on feminine hygiene products, usually by treating such items as "luxuries" instead of "necessities."  As a consequence, many American women aren't simply being faced with the cost of such products - they're being forced to pay taxes on products that are "basic necessities" for one gender, and one gender only. How Hillary Clinton Could Still Win... (and the reason why she won't)

Within days of Hillary Clinton announced her candidacy for the Presidency of the United States in April, 2015, American Millennials published an article calling into question the inevitability of her nomination, stating that if there was one thing that was going to get in the way of Hillary Clinton winning the Democratic primary, it would be her own ego. A bunch of a**holes commit some a**holery, specifically to create fear. And if you succumb...

The Revolution Has Begun

BREAKING NEWS: Congress Actually Accomplished Something!

No, this isn't an Onion article. No, we're not kidding. Congress actually achieved something!!! The House of Representatives successfully passed a long-term solution to the “doc fix” problem on Thursday, which is something they've kicked down the road no less than 17 times since 2002.  While this news is certainly going to be celebrated by doctors across the country, the passage of the "doc fix" legislation is something that really deserves to be celebrated by every American, simply for representing a truly rare moment of cooperation by our legislators.
